He is survived by his son Christopher Gruel,ex-wife Dorci Williams Gruel, step daughters Krista Thomas, Catrina Kelley and his grandchildren Jimmy Gruel, Katie Gruel, Haley Thomas, Lily Thomas, Ruby Thomas and Gracey Thomas.
