James Richard Mayo

James Richard Mayo, "Jim, Jimmy, Jimbo",73, of Jacksonville, FL, passed
away on July 22 nd , 2022.

Jim was born on January 5 th ,1949 to Herbert H. Mayo and Doris Jean in
Panama City, FL. After graduating from Ribault Highschool in Jacksonville,
Jim joined the United States Marine Corp. Following his military service,
Jim had a career in the Food Brokerage/ Grocery Industry. He retired from
Chemstar Corporation in 2012.

Jim was a devoted Husband and Father. He loved spending time with his
family. He enjoyed boating, going to Car Shows, watching sports, and
spending time with his pets. He had a passion for cars, becoming quite the
Corvette and Classic car enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Patricia Ann Mayo, Daughter Cheri
Mayo Watts (Bill Watts), Grandchildren: Dallas and Erica, and Great
Grandson: Colton of Jacksonville. His son James Christopher Mayo ( Sara
Mayo) Grandchildren: Savannah, Wyatt, and Jackson of St. Augustine. His
Siblings: Debi Taylor, Bert Mayo, Thad Mayo and their families.

Jim will be laid to rest in The Jacksonville National Cemetery, in Jacksonville
FL on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
