Anna Lois Patterson Porch died peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. She was born in Slate Springs, MS, on July 13, 1934, to the late Vernon Irby and Connie Dorcus Patterson. She was the youngest of four children.
She enjoyed reading and watching basketball games, especially the University of Memphis Tigers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Winfred Patterson, and her sisters Kathryn Langston and Sarah House.
She is survived by her children, Jeanie (Bill) Legier, Sandra (Dale) Crews and Mike Porch; her grandchildren Adam (Cherry) Zurka, Kelly (Nathan) Vetitoe, Christopher (Whitney) Zurka, Will Legier and Cassy (Darryn) Hobbs; her step-grandchildren Jessica (Billy) Newkirk, Leslie (Shane) Svarczkopf, and Nicole (Neal) Demers; her great grandchild Brooks Hobbs; her step-great grandchildren Dallan, Sydney, Kevin, Zoey, Avery, Liam, Gwen and Crews; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 11:00am at Bethany Baptist Church cemetery in Slate Springs, MS.
