Billie Faye Mayhall

Jacksonville, Florida

Billie Faye Mayhall of Jacksonville, Florida flew home to be with our Lord and the Angels on high July 21, 2025. Born October 6,1941 in Florence, Alabama the daughter of William Cevera Nunley and Verta Lee Nunley.

She was a very popular and athletic student at Belmont High School in Belmont, Mississippi.

She had a heart of gold. She was often recognized for her accomplishments by community leaders. Helping the homeless, often volunteering her own time, she was dedicated helping others and families as a Social Director and case by case worker for the Salvation Army in Kauai, Hawaii, San Diego, California and Clay County in Jacksonville, Florida.

Her faith was constant in her life. She was beautiful, inside and out, with a wonderful personality and always brought joy and laughter to others. When she retired in 2011, she enjoyed reading, flowers, and feeding the birds as well as spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sister, Sonya Nunley Blake, her children, Tony (Sherry) Rogers, Gina Rogers Farmer, Anita Rogers, Tina Rogers and Donny Rogers, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She is reunited in heaven with her parents, grandparents, four sisters, Barbara Hastings, Joyce Nunley, Jenny Sparks, Mary Payne, and a brother, William F. Nunley.

Billie Faye Mayhall is entrusted in the care of Naugle Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Florida and her eternal resting place will be entrusted in the care of Deaton Funeral Home in Belmont, Mississippi.

A memorial will be determined at a later date.
