Cecilio Manapat Centeno Jr., 74, lovingly known as "Jota" or "Junior," departed this life on October 29, 2025, at Orange Park Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Born on May 14, 1951, in Manila, Philippines, Cecilio brought warmth and laughter into the lives of everyone he met.

Cecilio's journey led him to the United States in 1978, where he established a life filled with love and joy. He married his beloved wife, Sheryl Centeno, in September 1985, with whom he shared countless cherished moments. Together, they created a loving home filled with the laughter of their two children, Lisa and Brandon, and the joy of their granddaughter, Analynn Wyche. Before retirement, Cecilio worked for Excel, Dura Automotive, and Coca-Cola.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Felicidad Centeno; father, Cecilio Centeno Sr.; and brothers Reynaldo Sr., Manuel, and Loreto. Cecilio is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl; children, Lisa and Brandon; granddaughter Analynn; brothers, Eddie Centeno and Conrad Centeno Sr.; sister Vicky Centeno, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Cecilio was known for his passion for life. His love for watching football and basketball was evident, particularly when cheering for the Jacksonville Jaguars and rooting for any Florida team. Music was his solace, particularly listening to the Eagles, Bee Gees, and the Beatles. He also had a talent for cooking.
