Chad Everett Ford Genovar passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 27th, 2018 at the early age of 44 after a short and heroic battle with cancer. He was born to Shelia (Scott) and Gary Ford January 30th, 1974 in Grand Prairie, Texas. Chad had many varied interests and talents. Although he worked as a construction contractor for many years, he was also an expert landscaper. He was an avid fisherman, loved music, playing guitar, and singing. He enjoyed cooking both in the kitchen and on the grill. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He had a wonderful sense of humor that will be missed most, with humorous stories that always made us laugh.
Chad graduated from St. Augustine High school in 1992. He is survived by his mother Shelia McKee and stepfather James McKee of Foley, Alabama, father Gary Ford of Arlington, Texas, children Colby, Colton, and Cheyenne, and their mother Michelle (Morris) Genovar of St. Augustine, Florida, brothers Chance and Cody and sisters Holly Genovar Held and Carson Ford. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Cecilia Scott are Robert and Beverly Ford.
A celebration of Chads life will take place Friday at 2:00 pm at Naugle Funeral Home
