Charles Scott "Chuck" Wiese, 69 of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Irwin, Pennsylvania went home to glory on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
Chuck was born March 20, 1953 in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania to Thewl B. "Bud" Wiese Jr. and Virginia Lou "Ginny" Wiese.
Chuck was a 1971 graduate of Norwin High School in N. Huntingdon, Pennsylvania and worked for many years as assistant produce manager at Marraccini's Market in White Oak, Pennsylvania. He spent his retirement years working at Irwin Union Cemetery in Irwin, Pennsylvania performing lawn maintenance.
Chuck was a devout Christian and spent many years as a youth group counselor and leader at Full Gospel Church in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He loved the time he spent with the youth, introducing them to Jesus Christ and helping them find salvation in our Lord.
Many of the youth, who are now adults, reached out to Chuck during his illness via email expressing their memories of the times at Full Gospel and thanking him for the positive affect he had on their lives. I was able to read these emails to Chuck which lifted his spirits.
Chuck is survived by his mother Virginia "Ginny" Wiese, his brother Thewl B. "Skip" Wiese III (Rose Mary), his cousins Beth (Bill) Shoaf, Tim (Annie) Ginneven, David (Mary Ellen) Wiese, Mary Alice Whitten, Sarah (John) Burke, Roberta (Terry) Welsh and Gilbert Wiese.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society in honor of Chuck Wiese.
