Christopher Hobday Profile Photo

Christopher Hobday was born August 4, 1967 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to Ed and Dolores Hobday. Christopher fought his final battle and went to the Lord's arms on July 22, 2025 at the age of 57.

Christopher was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania but spent most of his life in Jacksonville, Florida. Christopher was a proud, small business owner and cameraman working for many networks in his 30 year career. Christopher was an advent speaker for youth services serving on the Board of Directors for the Youth Crisis Center for many years. He was granted the honor of being the final torch bearer carrying the Olympic flame into the Jacksonville Landing in 1996. He was a proud and dedicated father to his children and a loving friend to all.

Christopher was a charismatic soul that could make an entire room smile anytime he walked in. His compassion and empathy for others spoke and was heard by all who met him and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need. His hobbies were singing, dancing, and long walks on the beach.

He is survived by his parents, younger sister Jennifer Hobday, his children Nicholas and Lilliana Hobday, and his grandchildren Atreus and Mirabella Hobday.
