Clyde Elbert Summerell, Jr

Clyde Elbert Summerell, Jr., 75, passed away among family and friends at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Fl. on March 15, 2018. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Bonita Lee Barker Summerell. Born in Florence, SC he was the son of the late Clyde and Marion Summerell. He received a BSEE degree from Clemson University, was a Captain in the US Army and retired from the FAA at JAX Center. He was a kind and generous man with an early love for computers. He is survived by one brother, George Summerell.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on March 29th at Mount Hope Cemetery in Florence, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grover Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fl. or a charity of one's choice. Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
