Curtis A. Morton, 74, of Jacksonville, Florida moved to his heavenly home Wednesday, July 9th, 2025 at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on May 28th, 1951 to Harry and Ernestine Morton.

After graduation in 1969 from L.D. Bell High School he attended Texas A & M University as part of the Corps and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. He then entered the Air Force as a First Lieutenant forecaster stationed in Fort Ord, California. 

In 1976 he received orders Osan Air Base in South Korea, where he met the love of his life, Margaret Morton, who was also stationed there. They married in November of 1977 after discharging from the Air Force and started his new life occupation as a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Oklahoma City. From there they moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1979 and retired in 2007, as meteorologist in charge at Jacksonville ARTCC CWSU. Curt is preceded in death by his parents, Harry L. Morton and Ernestine Morton. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Morton; his brothers, William Morton and Gary Morton; and his sister, June Marshall.

Services for Curt will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 at New Life Christian Fellowship, Jacksonville, Florida.
