Deborah Lee Tompkins

Deborah Tompkins was a native of Indianapolis ,Indiana. She received a Masters Degree in Theology from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. After moving to Jacksonville to Jacksonville , Miss Tompkins worked briefly at the Sulzbacher Center and later as a Chaplain for Hospice.Deborah had great compassion for others and and was an excellent listener. In the weeks prior to her death, Miss Tompkins had begun a search for volunteer opportunities. She had a strong faith. She loved to sing, play the piano, dance, swim, read, good food and trips to the beach.
A memorial service will be held for Miss Tompkins on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Lakes Shore Presbyterian Church at 2270 Blanding Blvd. 32210.
