Fernando Rodriguez

Fernando Rodriguez, 85, of Callahan, Florida, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 3:43 p.m., in Hospice Care, Orange Park, Florida.

Fernando was born on April 27, 1941, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He lived a life defined by hard work and devotion to his family. Known for his strength and his strict but loving hand, Fernando gave everything he had for his children, making sure his girls always had what they needed. His family remembers him as a man who led with love, even when that love came wrapped in discipline — the kind that shaped them into who they are today.

He is survived by his wife, Mirtha Rodriguez; his daughters, Johanna and spouse Felix Zaragoza, Vivian, Janet, Nilsa, and Carmen and spouse Kike Hernandez; his grandchildren, Marleen, Francisco, Nichole, Brandon, and Liliana and many more ; and Aracelia Lozada, who was loved and cherished as a daughter.

Fernando will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
