George Ralph Renbeck, 87, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Born on April 3, 1938, in Manhattan, New York, George lived a life full of love, laughter, and deep devotion to God, his family, and friends. George was a humble man, he believed in helping others and was a Mason.
George dedicated 8 years of service to the U.S. Army National Guard and Reserves and enjoyed a civilian career as a Master Carpenter. His hobbies included art appreciation, watching his favorite westerns and old war movies, and he was an avid sports fan.
But above all, he treasured the time spent with his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Greta, four daughters, Kim, Renee, Tara, and Andrea. George was a proud grandfather to Jonathon, Nathan, Dagny, Anja, Morgan, Grayson, August, Reagan, Ella, and Truman.
He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, Alexandrea, Dallas, Anariyah, Orryace, and Aulora.
George will be remembered for his fun-loving spirit, sharp wit, and unwavering pride in his family. Oh, and he would like everyone to just enjoy a bowl of strawberries and take a nap.
In accordance with his wishes, George will be cremated.
George will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by his generosity, humor, and enduring spirit. The family deeply appreciates your love, prayers, and sympathy. At this time, they will be holding a private celebration of life in his honor.
