Grace Hanschka Pill

Grace Hanschka PILL, 97, passed away on December 15, 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Adam, grandson, Jason Pill, niece Linda Fountain, and nephew, Fred Everett. She is preceded by her husband, Joseph Donald Pill, and son, James Pill. Grace was born in Wharton, New Jersey, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from Douglass College (now a part of Rutgers) in 1939. After graduating, Grace was employed in various management-level positions before deciding to start a family. Grace moved to Jacksonville with her husband Donald in the 1970s. She will be remembered for her nurturing attitude, kind soul, and love of animals, including her beloved dachshund companions. The family is grateful to her loving caretaker and close friend, Valerie Lanham.
