Jacob Forshee

Jacob B. Forshee, born on December 12, 1977, in Jacksonville, Florida, passed away August 11, 2025 in a tragic accident doing what he loved. Jacob, a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Jenia Forshee, was a proud father to Garrett Forshee, Katlynne Freeney, and father-in-law to James Freeney, cherished grandfather to his precious granddaughter, Emmalynn Freeney and loving son to his father, Larry Forshee. Known for his strong work ethic, Jacob was the owner of Forshee's Tree Service, which he built into a successful company, a testament to his dedication and craftsmanship.

Jacob found joy in the simple pleasures of life-fishing trips and days spent on the boat brought him immense happiness, shared with his family. He had an infectious laugh that filled the room, ensuring that gatherings were always filled with joy and light. His love for his wife, children, son-in-law and grandchild knew no bounds, and he took great pride in sharing vacations and memorable moments with them, creating stories that will be treasured forever.

He is also survived by his father, Larry Forshee, his mother, Betty Forshee, his son-in-law, James Freeney, his brother, Larry Forshee, his sisters, Jessica Forshee and Sara Strickler. Jacob's legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His family invites those who loved Jacob to join them in celebrating his life and the wonderful memories they shared.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for potted flowering plants or trees as they will be planted at their family farm in memory of Jacob.
