In Loving Memory of Jacqueline McPhail Lemmon
(1937 - 2025)
"We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time."
~T.S.Eliot
A true artist at heart, Jackie found joy in creating-whether through painting, crafting, or any other medium that allowed her to express her vibrant spirit. Her creativity knew no bounds, and she saw beauty in the world where others might have missed it. Her hands were always busy bringing something to life, and her heart was always open to those around her. Jackie enjoyed gardening and cheap wine and cooking and a bold Scottish kilt.
She is survived by her children, J. Scot Williams and his late beloved wife Sylvia, Julia Williams (Peter Lucas) and Jason Williams. Affectionately known as The Queen Mum by her granddaughters, Grace Shomer and Sydney Shomer, they will carry her legacy forward with love and gratitude.
A celebration of her life and artistic spirit will be held April 29, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., at the Naugle Funeral Home on Hendricks Avenue in Jacksonville, FL. In honor of her memory, the family encourages donations to the Jacksonville Humane Society or simply taking a moment to create something beautiful in her honor.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered through the art she left behind and the love she gave so generously.
