James 'Jim' Michael Dempsey was born September 26, 1946. Originally from New York, Jim spent much of his life in Florida - most recently in Jacksonville.
Jim is survived by his wife, Marilou Yu Dempsey; his children, Kelly Lulli, Tracy Cruz, and Michael Dempsey; stepchildren Erika Dempsey, Jennifer Dempsey, and Jason Dempsey; and grandchildren Dominic 'Nick' Lulli and Devon Cruz.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, Jim knew true horror but overcame it with his colorful personality.
While in Florida, many knew Jim as a staple in the hospitality industry and also as a cabbie.
Jim will be missed by his family.
