Jerry Isham Cox went home to be with the Lord on June 19, 2025. He was born June 6, 1949 in Waycross, Georgia, to Elmer Cox and Vera Sowell Cox. He was predeceased by his parents; wife of 49 years, Marlene Simmons Cox; son, Brett Aaron Cox; grandson, Bryce Aaron Cox; and siblings, Larry Cox, Ronnie Cox, Curtis Cox, Elmerine Houghton, Gary Cox, Sue Dowling, and Jenny Wells.
He is survived by his devoted son, Jeremy Cox; sister, Barbara Robinson; and brother, Grover Cox. The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.
