John Dragonetti

John Dragonetti, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and cherished member of the Jackson, Michigan, community, passed away peacefully from natural causes on April 14, 2026, at the age of 86. He was born on March 15, 1940, in Jackson, MI, where he would go on to build a life filled with love, family, and dedication to his passions.

John is survived by his devoted wife, Judy Dragonetti, with whom he shared over 63 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised four children: John (Lori), Jeff, Tammy, and Tony, who were the pride and joy of his life. In addition to his children, he leaves behind eight grandchildren: John (Sierra) Dragonetti, Andrea (Marlena) Dragonetti, Emily Dragonetti, Blake (Brandon) Ferrizzi, Stephanie Ferrizzi, Nicholas (Chelsea) Dragonetti, Michael (Gabrielle) Dragonetti, Angelina Dragonetti, each of whom he adored and cherished.

John was well-known in the community as the owner of Dragonetti's restaurant, where he brought people together over good food and great company. His commitment to the Jackson area extended beyond his restaurant; he proudly sponsored numerous athletic teams at various levels, supporting youth and adult sports alike. His passion for fostering a sense of community and encouraging young athletes is a testament to his generous spirit.

An outdoor enthusiast, John reveled in hunting, fishing, and camping, often finding solace in nature's beauty. He cherished the moments spent outdoors with family and friends, creating lasting memories that shaped his legacy.

John Dragonetti's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and community will be profoundly missed. His life stands as an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
He spent many mornings enjoying coffee with close friends especially John Contarino.

A memorial service will be held on April 18, 2026, at Naugle Funeral Home & Cremation Services, with visitation starting at 3:00 PM, followed by the service at 3:30 PM. Family and friends are invited to celebrate John's remarkable life and share in the love he imparted to all.

John was preceded in death by parents Vincent Dragonetti and Beulah Dragonetti.
