John Avery Hartley

At 5:53 a.m. on March 15, 2016 John Avery Hartley threw in the towel on a lifelong battle of multiple illnesses and ailments. A God fearing man well known for being a living miracle, he was passionate about 80's hair metal guitar solos, his faith, and his children. An honest provider, he kept a positive outlook and never missed an opportunity to lend a helping hand. He was survived by his parents, Carl Hartley and Wanda Bishop, as well as his wife Stacy Durham-Hartley. His legacy lives on through his children, Crystal Savage, Ashlee Hartley, Joshua Hartley, Sarah Hartley, four (soon to be five) grandchildren and multiple family members as well as close friends.

A celebration in his memory will be held on April 9, 2016 at 3:00 PM at 8423 Weather Vane Court, Jacksonville, FL. 32244 All are welcome to come and show respect in his honor.
