Karen Kucey Zoyhofski Teitelbaum

Karen Kucey Zoyhofski Teitelbaum, age 82, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on December 7, 2025, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Karen was born in Rochester, New York, and later made her home in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Her life was rooted in faith, and she found her greatest joy in loving and caring for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents (John and Elizabeth Kucey), and husband (David), but leaves behind her brother, Frank (Margaret), and her three beloved daughters, Christine, Cheryl (Dave), and Gayle (Fred).

Karen leaves behind a cherished legacy through her grandchildren: Judah (Gabriella), Michael, Matthew, Alex (Amanda), Alyssa, Moriah, and Ella, and her great-grandson, Zane, who brought her immense joy.

In her later years, Karen lived life to the fullest-remaining active, energetic, and involved. She embraced each day with gratitude, resilience, and a joyful spirit that reflected her strong faith and love for others.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Jacksonville, Florida, on January 28th from 4:30 to 5:30 PM at Pablo Towers, Jacksonville Beach, Florida. A private burial and memorial will take place in Rochester, New York.

Karen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her family rejoices in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her loving Savior. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the 700 Club, which she watched and supported faithfully, in her memory.
