Kenneth Reece

Kenneth Allen Reece, born on July 5, 1953, in Charlotte, NC, passed away on September 25, 2025, in Fernandina Beach, FL. Ken was a proud veteran of the US Navy, serving as a Hospital Corpsman Chief Petty Officer, including a tour during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge of military service in 1990, he dedicated his life to his family, notably his four grandchildren.

Ken was a family man at heart, leaving behind his companion of 45 years Barbara Reece, daughter Jessica Reece and son Jake (Elizabeth) Reece, along with grandchildren Aiden Mullis, River Reece, and Lily Reece. He also leaves behind his sister Sallie (Bill) Reece Trapp, brother Vic (Judy) Reece, and sister-in-law Dawn Horton Reece.

He was preceded in death by his mother Angelina Dominelli Reece McGuirt, father Ernest V. Reece, Jr., sister Peggy Reece Ruppe, brother Robert 'Bob' Reece, and granddaughter Gabriella Reece.

Ken cherished the time spent with his family and made unforgettable memories on trips, especially the family vacation to Tennessee, where laughter and stories were shared. An avid fisherman, Ken found joy and peace on the water, often casting a line while taking in the beauty of nature. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He would want his legacy to be remembered as nothing less than Superb. Capeesh?
