Lindy Susan (Bell) Diffenbaugh DD, 71, went to be with the Lord April 28, 2026 in Jacksonville, FL, where she had lived since 1995. Born to Kenneth E. Bell and Elizabeth A. (Ballard) Bell February 28, 1955 in Bad Cannstatt, Germany, she grew up in Columbus, GA, and earned a Bachelors in Music before enlisting in the US Army. Chosen for OCS she became an Officer and departed service as a Captain. She met her husband, LTC (ret) Guy L. Diffenbaugh and married March 1, 1986. She is survived by husband Guy, daughters Hannah Coxwell and husband Daniel, Sarah Diffenbaugh, Rachel Diffenbaugh, son David Diffenbaugh and wife Meagan, and granddaughter Valyn Skahan. She will be greeted in Heaven by deceased son Jonathan Diffenbaugh. Lindy is survived by sisters Rebecca Hart and husband Bill, Mooresville, NC, and Inga Arrowood, Scottsdale, AZ. She also leaves behind a nephew Michael Hart and his wife Mary and a niece Susan Burns and her husband Patrick and several great nieces and nephews. After a second career in Mental Health Counseling, she earned 4 Doctoral Degrees and was ordained Apostolic. She and her husband ministered in their Apostolic metron of Africa having many spiritual sons and daughters there.
There will be a celebration of Lindy’s life on Sunday May 3, 2026, at 2pm, Naugle Funeral Nome, 1203 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL., 32207 presided over by Bishop Guy Diffenbaugh, DD.
Flowers may be delivered to Naugle Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
