Mary Kathleen Ball

Mary Kathleen Ball Profile Photo
Mary Kathleen Ball, 63, of Jacksonville, FL and born September 15, 1956, passed away peacefully, listening to RUSH, on February 21, 2020. A little early, in our opinion, but she's always been a big fan of Jesus, so we are all happy she finally gets to meet him in person. She is survived by her daughter, Taya Norris and her husband, Mika Norris, granddaughter, Willa Norris, and sister, Pam Shealy and has now joined the ranks of such previous family as: her husband, Allyn Ball, son, Allyn Christopher Ball, mother, Mary Milsap (nee Leppert) and father, Vincent O'Brien. Kathy has lived a rad life, full of following her whims, experiencing some good vices and travelling around the country and beyond with her family (not like a regular family, a cool family). She was generous, loyal, ready to always help, hilarious (see: endless memes on Facebook), and had a memory like a steel bear trap. Despite being born in Boston, MA, she leaves behind a delightfully sordid past in Charleston, SC, where she attended Hanahan high school. Neither accent stuck. A lifelong Disney fan, we hope she is getting to ride Dumbo with her dear grandfather and will be able to join the other 999 happy haunts at the Mansion. We love you, Mimi. We bet the garage sales in Heaven are awesome.

Her memorial is being held at Naugle Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL on Saturday, March 21 at 10:00am. She donated regularly to St Jude's children's hospital and would like to urge you strongly and with heaps of Catholic guilt to do the same.

Services entrusted to Naugle Schnauss Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 808 Margaret Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32204, 904-683-9288
