Melva Walker Millan Wilson was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico August 1948. She passed away July 7, 2021. She completed a bachelor's degree in Business Management and later attended Webster University. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Christopher Wilson. Melva did four years of active duty in the Army and eighteen years in the Army Reserves. She served in Desert Storm as an administrator for a CASH Unit. Upon retirement, she was a volunteer mentor coordinator for the Veteran's Treatment Court of Duval County and attended the Finker-Frenkel Chabad Center. She was fiercely independent, lived in many places and loved life.
A visitation will be held at Naugle Funeral Home at 1203 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32207 on July 13, 2021 at 1 pm for family and friends.
