He grew up in Salsibury, Maryland. He was a loving father to his daughter, Betsy Kent. Michael is also survived by his brother, David Kent, and cousin, Milton Moore.

Michael dedicated his professional life to the transportation industry, proudly owning his own airport transportation service in Jacksonville. His commitment to his work and community was evident in the relationships he built with clients and fellow employees.

Michael will be remembered for his strong work ethic, warm spirit, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories they created with him throughout his life.

Michael was preceded in death by: Marion Kent, Wanda Kent, Rose Kent, Julia Moore, and Ralston Moore.
