Mildred G. Fisher (Millie), born on July 14, 1936, in Sylacauga, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. A cherished homemaker, Millie dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. She is survived by her children: Sandi Shea (Tony), Kim Dryden (Tom), Don Fisher (Donna), Charlie Fisher (Cheryl), and Karen Reeder. She also leaves behind a legacy of nine grandchildren who were the light of her life, known to them as Nana Banana: Lindsay Johnson (AJ), Aimee Kelly (David), Bryce Dryden, Skylar Dryden, Danielle Caplin (Ricky), Robbie Reeder, Logan Fisher (Hannah), Zach Fisher, and Michelle Teuscher (Jake) and many great-grandchildren.
Millie had a passion for cooking, often preparing delicious meals that brought her family together. She delighted in hosting family game nights filled with laughter and friendly competition over board games. Her artistic side shined through her love of painting and coloring, which brought her immense joy and allowed her to express her creativity.
Throughout her life, Millie created countless memorable moments with her family, always putting their needs first and displaying an unwavering love and support (mixed with a little P&V). Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her, as she embodied grace, kindness, and dedication to her loved ones. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Millie was preceded in death by: her loving spouse, Greg Putnam; mother and father Lillian and Homer Edwards; 5 brothers; 5 sisters, and her son-in-law, Tony Cailteux.
