Myrta Rosa Rivera

Myrta Rosa Rivera, age 64 of Jacksonville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 23, 2019.
Even though she was gone too soon, she lived a full life with her family. She was the loving wife to Libertad "Chino" Cruz for 37 years, the devoted mother to Denise Marcano, Jasmine Cruz, & Nicole Cruz Luciano, and the nurturing grandmother and great grandmother to Joshua Ray Rivera, Anthony Jackson, Leo Luciano, and Jayden Cole Rivera.
She spent her time caring for others; her kids and grandkids, her in-laws, her neighbors, and the stray pets in the neighborhood! She was truly selfless and had the biggest heart. She was a hardworking, independent woman who was constantly working on projects in her home and in the community.
We will miss her spirit, big personality, and mostly her smile that can light up a room.
