Nancy Lee (Quick) Scheerer, 87, of Fayetteville, Tennessee passed away at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida on December 21, 2025 following a brief illness. Along with her dog and faithful companion, Dolly (named for Dolly Parton), she moved to be closer to her son and grandchildren during the last five years of her life. In addition to her late husband Bill, Nancy is preceded in death by her brother, Nelson Quick, and sister, Linda Quick Brown. Survivors include her son William (Bill) Scheerer of Jacksonville, daughter, Beth Scheerer of Cullman, Alabama; and grandchildren Kyler and Zoie Scheerer of Jacksonville and Kimberlee Kinney Gates (Isaac) of Taft, Tennessee and great-granddaughter, Gracelyn.
