Phillip Jeffrey Serre
August 23, 1950 — July 2, 2017
PHILLIP JEFFREY SERRE (Phil), age 66 of Jacksonville, passed away on July 2, 2017 at his home. Phil was a proud veteran of Vietnam, where he served his country as a US Marine. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and enjoyed many miles on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Nancy Huffstutler Serre; son, Joshua W. Serre and wife Kelly of Jacksonville; and daughter Jessica L. Yearwood and husband Robert of St. Augustine.
A memorial service is scheduled to be held at 11am, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Midtown Location of Celebration Church, 10302 Deerwood Park Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
A private burial will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to K9s for Warriors.
