Randy Conn, 68, formerly of Burlington, Iowa passed away after a long illness on October 14, 2025 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Randy was born on October 1,1957 in Burlington to Ernest E. Conn Jr. and Annabel Tanner Conn being the second of three children. He graduated from Nauvoo-Colusa High School in 1977. He was of Christian faith being saved and baptized in 1976.

Randy worked as a laborer in both construction and production fields. He joined the United States Army in the 1980's serving at Fort Jackson, SC and Fort Campbell, KY.

He spent the last years of his life lovingly caring for his soulmate, Lorraine. They were together for 30 years. He had a special place in his heart for cats and was always feeding the feral cats in his neighborhood. He gained the trust of one that he that he took into his home and became a loving part of his life.

Randy enjoyed his Sunday morning telephone coffee chats with his sister. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing and numerous sports on tv. His favorite football team being the Jacksonville Jaguars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, numerous aunts and uncles, a great nephew Brodi Sattler, and a cousin Monte Tanner. Survivors include, his brother, Rick Conn, from Burlington, sister Kathy {Rock} Martin from Burlington, nieces Brandy Conn from Mediapolis, Iowa and Brenda Conn from West Burlington, Iowa, and nephew Dustin {Courtney} Alter from Wever, Iowa, great niece Brylea Weir from Mediapolis, Iowa , great nephew Preston Heidbreder from Wever, Iowa and great niece Braelynn Six also from Wever, Iowa. One Uncle, Joe{Carol} Tanner from LaGrange, Missouri and one Aunt Judie {Doug} Flesner from Camp Point, Illinois, and numerous cousins from both sides of his parents.

Cremation is entrusted to Naugle Funeral Home and Cremation in Jacksonville, Florida. A graveside service will be at a later date at Memorial Park in Burlington, Iowa
