Robert Patrick Lidy Jr. started a new journey on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside. He was born August 6, 1952, in Biloxi Mississippi to Robert P. Lidy and Mary Ruth Edwards. Robert was a life long resident of New Orleans, LA. He graduated from Booker T Washington where he was celebrated as Point Guard on our
nations number one High School Basketball Team. Upon graduation he joined the US Navy from where he had an Honorable Discharge in 1974. He then took a position at the US Postal Service where he served the community as a mail carrier for a number of years. An undergrad of Delgado College of New Orleans. He left the Crescent City in 1988 to
start a new chapter in his life Jacksonville, Fl. Preceding him in death were his mother, Mary Ruth Edwards and his father Robert P. Lidy. His only sister Anna Maria Pasha. His honored and highly decorated elder brother Winston Eugene Jr. who recently departed May 8 th of this year. And youngest brother Billy Andrews Mulkey. He is survived by his only remaining sibling Ali Mulkey, Sister-in Law Sharlyn Williams-Mulkey, Sister-in-law Sharon Eugene and Life partner Martha Kitchen. The many loving nieces and nephews, family, extended family, relatives and friends.
Cremation and Memorial Services will be held Thursday, October 27,
