Rupert Everard Ross

Rupert Everard Ross, 69, passed away on February 26, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 7, 1956, he was the son of the late Rupert and Marie Ross of Newport, RI.

Rupert proudly served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Italy and Germany. He later made his home in Flagler Beach, Florida, where he worked at Sea Ray building boats before starting his own dump truck business, RNL Construction, with his life partner, Louise Geary.

He was father to Michael Lynch and father-in-law to Jennifer Lynch, and a proud grandfather to Samantha, William, Jack, and Chloe Lynch. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Bayless, and brother-in-law, Tim Bayless, of Madisonville, TX.

Rupert loved motorcycles, sailing, scuba diving, beachcombing, and making everyone laugh.  He also loved his dogs, Ginger and Sookie. He lived with an adventurous spirit and has finally earned his wings.

A private service was held for the family, with a beach memorial to be announced at a later date.
