Shi-Anne Marie Hudson Jr., affectionately known by her nickname “Bulldog,” passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida, at just 3 years old. Born on August 20, 2021, in Rapid City, South Dakota, Shi-Anne brought light, joy, and love into every space she entered.
She earned her nickname “Bulldog” from her dad because of the adorable way she would sit up—just like a little bulldog—with pride and determination. That spirit followed her throughout her short life. She was known for her advanced reading skills even as a toddler and had a remarkable curiosity for the world around her.
Shi-Anne loved reading books, playing with her baby dolls, and watching YouTube with her little brother. Her favorite thing in the world was singing “Sharing is Caring” by Gracie’s Corner—a song that captured her generous and joyful spirit.
She was loved beyond words and unconditionally by her mother and father, who cherished every moment with her. The bond they shared with their daughter was one of deep joy, pride, and overwhelming love.
She is survived by her loving parents, Shi-Anne and Lakeith Hudson, and her little brother, Lakeith Hudson II. Though her time on Earth was brief, the love she gave and received will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, or mourning, or crying, or pain.”

❤ A Note From Mommy to My Baby Girl
To my sweet Bulldog —
You were my sunshine, my giggle, my song,
A piece of my heart I’ll carry lifelong.
You danced through life with your dolls by your side,
And now you play where angels reside.
Though I must walk this world apart,
You will always live within my heart.
I’ll love you forever — beyond the skies,
Until I hold you again, in Paradise.
With all my love,
Mommy
