Steven Cyril Klingemann

Steven Cyril Klingemann, 73, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away Thursday August 7th, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida.

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Frieda Klingemann.

Steve passed away surrounded by love from his family and friends. More than anything, Steve cherished his time with his loved ones. Steve was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved handyman work, boating, fishing, playing cards, and took pride in training his dogs throughout the years. Above all, Steve’s greatest passion was his ownership of corvettes.

In 1971, Steve joined The Air National Guard- US Air Force and was stationed at Kessler Air force base in Biloxi, MS. He served for six years.

Steve was employed at Southwestern Bell for more than 30 years. He was the district support person before he retired early.

He is survived by his adoring wife of 54 years, a daughter and son-in-law, a son and daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren. He believed his greatest accomplishments were being married for 54 years, raising two children, and watching them raise their own families.

There will be a memorial service in September to celebrate Steve’s life with his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice of church or charity in his honor.
