Thelma Henry

Thelma Henry was born 6/18/48 in The Bronx, NY. She transitioned to be with her

heavenly Father on 5/18/25. She passed peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her

husband and best friend of 57 years, Marty Henry, and her 3 children: Sara, Peter

(Melissa McGinty), and Christopher. She is also survived by 3 amazing grandchildren,

who were the light of her life- Elliot (19), Astrid (16), and Addison (11).

Thelma was an avid quilter, an amazing friend, and never met a stranger. She served as

a Eucharistic Minister for St. Joseph's Catholic Church for many years. She wore many

hats, personally and professionally, and brought her wry sense of humor and fun to all

of them. Thelma had a quick wit, a kind spirit, and a talent for drawing in every single

person she ever met into a conversation, a relationship, and a community. She will be

missed immensely by her family and friends. We love you forever, Mom.

A private mass will be said at St. Joseph's for family, and a celebration of life will be held

later in the summer for family and friends to gather and share stories about Thelma.
