Walter Joseph Hartley III

Walter J. Hartley III (Joe), of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, surrounded by his family and friends. Joe was born in Jacksonville to Joe and Debbie Hartley. Most of his adult life he resided in Orange Park.

Joe was a loving father for both his son Alex and grandson Logan.

Joe worked in the marine industry as a purchasing agent and was well respected by his coworkers. Always willing to help and go the extra mile for both family and friends. He loved his motorcycle, it was his baby, and his favorite run was Dragon’s Tail.

Joe is preceded in death by his younger brother Alex and Mother Debbie.

Joe is survived by his son Alex Hartley, and Grandson Logan Hartley, and his father Walter J. Hartley II.

Services for Joe will be held at 11:00am on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Naugle Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Florida. A reception will take place later at Marvin Hartley’s residence: 2701 Bishop Estates Road, St. Johns, FL 32259.
