Wellington C. Morton, Ph.D., a man of integrity and unbending constitution has been called to his final rest. Born June 29, 1943, he lived his life with emphatic conviction and died the same way. The structure infused from Manlius Military School, and the guidance of his brother Jay Robert, supported his lifetime code of values. Claiming to be one of the richest men in the country, he based his wealth by using a measuring stick of kindness and courtesy towards fellow man and what assists he could provide for others. He believed those who measure self-worth by material items are fool hearty. He valued honor and competence over political contacts, stood tall with self-imposed responsibility towards those considered friends and treated those worthy with sincere compassion and concern; those less honorable with indifference.
He will deeply miss his wife, Janet, and the history accumulated over a lifetime. His daughter, Jennifer and her family will remember that he always exclaimed that: " I am just a poor boy trying to make good".
His single desire is to be reunited with his past canine companions.
