William Franklin Howard, Iii

William (Bill) Franklin Howard III 66, of Saint Augustine, Florida passed away Tuesday, October 4,2022. Bill was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida. Bill loved his work and made his living as a heating and air conditioning mechanic. He loved football and if you knew Bill, you knew he was a Dallas Cowboys and Florida Gators Fan (do the chop). No matter how hot it was, you could find Bill at the Daytona 500. He loved Nascar racing; Bill Elliot and Chase Elliot's #9 car were his favorite. Bill loved to eat and was passionate about Italian food. He became a very good cook and had mastered Southern cooking. Bill never met a stranger. He made friends wherever he went.
Bill is preceded in death by his father, William Franklin Howard JR, his mother, Nadine Howard and brother, Randall Howard.

Bill is survived by a son, William Franklin Howard IV and daughter, Megan Howard, sisters Pat Bridgeman and Sharon Johnston and a brother, Franklin Donald Howard and his best friend, Rosemary Kogurt.

Billy will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Naugle Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Avenue Jacksonville Florida 32207

A reception will be held at the VFW POST 1689 at 3409 St.Augustine Road Jacksonville, Florida 32207 following service.
