Alisa Lanier

Alisa Gibbs Lanier, 54, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026.

Born on May 15, 1971, Alisa lived most of her life in the Jacksonville area. She was known to family and friends as a devoted daughter, aunt, sister, and friend who cherished her loved ones.

She is survived by her parents Barbara and Toney Lanier, brothers Douglas Lanier and Collins Lanier, Douglas's wife Kristin Lanier, niece Kelsey Lanier and nephews Patrick Lanier and Conner Lanier -- all of whom will carry forward her love and memories.

Alisa loved to travel, read, and create curated experiences for her loved ones through exploring new places, foods, drinks, and restaurants. Her favorite activity was to spend quality time with friends and family, and especially with her niece and nephews.

She taught us to find joy in the small things, and to live life to the fullest. She believed that you should never let someone dull your sparkle and always brought out that sparkle in others. Her kindness, belief, and strength continue to inspire all who knew her. Alisa will be remembered for her laughter, spirit, and boundless generosity -- the gifts she gave so freely to others.
